Do you use Page Maps?

I like to use sketches. Sometimes I follow them exactly and other times I use them to spark ideas. They are a good way to jump start some lagging mojo! I decided to play along with one of their contests using a sketch they posted to create this two page layout. The top picture is the side based on the sketch and then I came up with an arrangement for the second page that was very similar. I used my Art Philosophy cartridge for the Cricut to cut out two "petals" that I transformed into footballs. Thanks for looking!

Scrapbook Challenges

I have found a site that has fun challenges - Scrapbook Challenges - that has helped recharge my mojo and get me creating again! Right now they are having their March Madness contest and I'm playing along with the DT challenges. Its a lot of fun and really stretching my scrappy muscles!! This is the layout I did today - head over to Scrapbook Challenges and play along!

First layout in who knows how long!

It's been awhile since I've actually gotten a layout done!  This one was fun to do - I used my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the tags and flags.  The letters are Cricut Jubilee Celebration.  Papers are October Afternoon - Modern Homemaker.

Monochromatic challenge

I am not so good at these - I love colors and being "locked" into one color is SO hard for me! But it stretches my creativity so I keep doing them when I am challenged to :0) Here is my card for the Hiding in my Craft Room challenge of the week:

I got my Art Philosophy cartridge from Close to my Heart (yipee!!!!!) and I used flower 8 to make the shamrock by trimming off one of the petals. The paper comes from K & Co and Bella Blvd. The ribbon, stamp and rhinestones are all dollar stuff from Michaels. I used Certainly Celery ink from Stampin Up.

Thanks for looking!!
