Playing along on National Scrapbook Day!

My last major scrappy day before I pack away my things in preparation for our move to North Carolina!  I'm playing along with Scrapbook Challenges, Little Red Scrapbook and my awesome friend Laurie's blog Hiding in my Craft Room

Here are the layouts I created for the Hiding in my Craft Room challenges thus far.

The first is a double pager I did for the Black and White + 1 challenge - my one is the color pink!
Carrie Underwood - Bazzill, Reflections and K & Co pattern paper, American Crafts Thickers letters, mirror butterfly - Target, flowers and butterflies - Close to My Heart

The second layout is the one I did for the Kid's Challenge.  My son drew this earlier today so I thought it was perfect!

Little Red Scrapbook - Tammy's April Challenge

Tammy gave a great challenge over at Little Red Scrapbook to use mixed media on our page. I took a Heidi Swapp mask I've had forever and used it to add some paint to my background page then sprayed it with the pearl mist.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies: Basic Grey pattern paper, Heidi Swapp mask, Making Memories paint, Close to my Heart glitter stickers, SMASH tape, Bazzill cardstock, SEI letter stickers

HIMCR challenge

This week's challenge at Hiding in My Craft Room is to use up those scraps! Since I've been scrapping a lot lately I had quite a few to choose from! Here is my card using up the papers and embellishments lying on my desk!

a couple of cards

The color challenge at Hiding in my Craft Room is pink, red and grey. I like how the colors came together in my first card. The second card is just using up some scraps sitting on my table!

10th Birthday

Here is a layout I created to play along with the Final 4 challenge at Scrapbook Challenges. I had to use 5 different pattern papers - a perfect challenge to use up some scraps!

Do you use Page Maps?

I like to use sketches. Sometimes I follow them exactly and other times I use them to spark ideas. They are a good way to jump start some lagging mojo! I decided to play along with one of their contests using a sketch they posted to create this two page layout. The top picture is the side based on the sketch and then I came up with an arrangement for the second page that was very similar. I used my Art Philosophy cartridge for the Cricut to cut out two "petals" that I transformed into footballs. Thanks for looking!

Papers: Stars and lined - Jenni Bowlin; Football - unknown
Sticker letters: white - generic/unknown; red - Doodlebug Designs
